Voyager 2: Our Enduring Messenger to the Cosmos

Voyager 2, launched on August 20, 1977, is a robotic probe sent by NASA to explore the outer Solar System and interstellar space. It is the only spacecraft to have visited Uranus and Neptune. Along with its twin, Voyager 1, it carries a "Golden Record" containing sounds and images representing life and culture on Earth, intended for any intelligent extraterrestrial life forms it might encounter. Both Voyagers continue to transmit data from beyond the heliosphere, offering insights into the furthest reaches of our solar neighborhood.
